A researcher- questionnaire was the instrument used. The questionnaire contained 16
items derived from the table of specifications and it was composed of two parts: Part one, involves the personal data of the inmates and part two contains questionnaire , outcomes of inmates welfare development program specifically on inmates sense of well-being at Iloilo city district jail. The questionnaire was validated by the research instructor and by a jury of three experts composed of faculty members of the College of Criminal Justice. To determine the reliability of the questionnaire, the spilt-half procedure was used. This was done by calculating the correlation coefficient for the odd- numbered test scores and the even- numbered test scores of a sample of 10 ________ who were not respondents in the study. Using the Spearman coefficient by correlation, the obtained coefficient correlation was 0.87. This coefficient describes the interval consistency of the questionnaire (Fraenkel and Wallen, 2010). The reliability coefficient was calculated using the Spearman Brown Prophecy Formula, The obtained score was 0.93 which means that the questionnaire is highly reliable and can be used for the research.
