The Asteegs has Blueprint, the Mentors, Papyrus and the Anglers, Ripples.

What about the tycoons?

An idea was conceived.
It was Dr. Peelbar Salardas idea that the College of BA& A should have its own
publication. Then somewhere on the July of 2011, he presented this notion to the
department chairpersons of CBA&A and it was approved. But there were still
many more thingfs to be considered and so much effort must be put on so that
the said publication could be realized.
The staff
Jephony( ), the current BASCO president, appointed Monsour Pelmin as the acting
Editor-In-Chief and responsible for the publication staff preparation.
On ( ) a workshop/seminar was given to those students who are willing to be a
pioneering staff of the paper. Afterwards, Jalo Val Santander was appointed as
the official Editor-In-chief and ( ) as the Publications adviser.
The name
Since the writers want the papers name not just to be an attention-catcher but
also something that can represent the BA&A to the readers in and out of the
square, it took the about a month to come up with a the tentative name, the
sheets. The staffs liked it and seemed to be contented with it. But Dean Salarda
on the other hand suggested to add a descriptive title to the name. so it was
decided, by the staffs, that the official name of the publication would be THE
BILLIONAIOREs SHEETS. Sounds Tycoons-like, right?
The idea and realization of the Billionaires Sheets was brought about by the
creativity and efforts of the people behind its printing who, after all of their hard
works, just aims for the enjoyment and expectations of the Publications readers.

TBS: A Bit of History

The Asteegs has Blueprint. The Mentors do have Papyrus. The Anglers
also have their Ripples. What about us?
Not in this reason The Billionaires Sheets was formed. Its a mere fact
that publications are necessary to provide information to the public. Hence, Dr.
Peelbar Salarda, dean of this college, presented a notion to all the department
chairpersons to have one and it was approved.
The burden of establishing the publication was given to the BASCO
Officials. They appointed Monsour A. Pelmin as acting Editor-In-Chief and made
responsible to look for able and willing BA&A writers. As part of seeking, they
conducted screening through a seminar-workshop held at BA Square last
December. The 12 participants became official staffers of the publication
automatically. They held a meeting afterwards and, Jalo Val Marinius C.
Santander was elected and officially became the Editor-In-Chief and Prof. Gilbert
Tan as the adviser.
The Editorial Board was set but it lacks name. They come up with multiple
options but one did stand out. Since the writers want a name that is catchy and
represents the image of the college, it took about a month to come up with a the
tentative name, the sheets. The board liked it and seemed to be contented
with the name. But Dean Salarda on the other hand suggested adding a
descriptive word that can make it sound better. And The Billionaires Sheets
was coined.
At present, this issue you are reading is the maiden. And this was brought
about by the efforts of all the people behind it.
