Q2)

There is a high mean annual temperature of around 23-27 Degree Celsius

as it is located further from the equator than places experiencing equatorial
climate. The annual temperature range is small. There is distinct wet and dry
seasons, January to May and September to December are dry seasons. From June
to August are the wet seasons. Concentrated rainfall in the summer (June to
September) which lowers the temperature due to south-west monsoon.
Q3A)
Cool temperate climate are found in areas from latitude 45 degree to
almost 60 degree north and south of the equator. There are four distinct season,
winter, spring, summer and autumn. As the tilt of the Earth and its revolution
around the sun. Cool temperate climate experiences mild winters and cool
summers. During winter, these places have shorter days and receives lesser
energy from the sun. There is a large annual temperate range of 25 Degrees
Celsius. The rainfall is evenly distributed throughout the year. Total annual
rainfall lower than places with monsoon and equatorial climate. There is no
distinct dry or wet seasons.
Q6Ai)
For tropical equatorial climate, rainfall is heavy and well distributed
throughout the year. This is due to the high temperature and high humidity. As
the temperature is high, the rate of evaporation from the surrounding rivers,
lakes and seas is also high. This causes a lot of water vapour to be present in the
air resulting in high humidity, usually about 80% or higher. Convectional rain
occurs often. While for tropical monsoon climate, there is a distinct wet and dry
season affected by monsoon. Concentrated rainfall in summer (June to
September) lowers the temperature due to the south-west monsoon.
Q6Bi)
The relative humidity and temperature is around 72% and around 29.5
Degree Celsius.
Q7C)
When there is an absence of cloud cover in the day, no suns ray can be
absorb and reflected away hence increase daily temperature range. At night,
without cloud cover no cloud can trap outgoing radiation thus the night time
temperature decreases.
Q8Ai)
Saturday, 24th July have the lowest range of temperature. Overnight was
cloudy which reduced the temperature, followed by the mix of cloud and sun in
the morning. Throughout the whole day there have been clouds and rainstorms.
The cloud absorbs and reflects the suns ray, keeping Singapore free from heat.
