TenarisBlue Near Flush is

a semi-flush premium connection designed by Tenaris
to meet the needs
of operating in todays more
demanding environments.
It offers best-in-class performance and the operational
and environmental benefits
of our renowned Dopeless
technology. The TenarisBlue
Near Flush casing connection
design optimizes geometry
and performance, providing
excellent tension capacity,
greater compression efficiency and maximum sealability for slim wells, high
pressure/high temperature
wells, and in wells where
tight clearances are
required.
TenarisBlue Near Flush sets
a new standard for integral
semi-flush premium connection technology, with
a compression efficiency in
excess of 50% of pipe body,
outstanding structural
integrity and maximum sealing capacity. All have been
fully designed to withstand
the requirements of ISO
13679 CAL IV.

Best-in-class Performance
The TenarisBlue Near Flush connection is especially suited for
wells requiring tight clearances and slim or lean well profiles,
where greater performance under extreme combined loading
conditions is required. Its robust design offers the optimum
balance between performance and geometry, and its fast and
easy make-up helps to reduce risk of cross threading and
overall trouble time during running operations.

Ease of Annular Clearance:

near flush design allows

maximum clearance in the
critical annular area
between casing strings
(clearance OD is less than
3% of pipe body).

Optimum sealability:

the dual seal design provides

excellent sealability under
combined loading
conditions.

High compression capacity:

compression efficiency is over

50% of pipe body under ISO
13679 CAL IV testing
conditions.

Fast and safe make-up:

the easy stabbing and low

galling characteristics of
the thread design assure
fast, reliable and consistent
make-up.

Proprietary Dopeless
technology:

the unique TenarisBlue

technology design allows for
a dry dope-free installation,
simplifying rig operations
and enhancing environmental
protection.
