The METALIT catalyst can make

two contributions towards
achieving this by combining a close
coupled catalyst with the use of
very thin structured LS/PE steel foils
for turbulent flow distribution of the
exhaust gas. This reduces the time
taken for the catalyst to start working and cold start emissions can be
reduced by about a half. The overall
cleaning effect increases to more
than 98% in exhaust gas tests.
