Assignment 1 (10%)
Engineering design is a process of devising of a plan to build a product with a specified
performance goal. The activities involve in Phase 1 are including Define Problem, Gather
Information, Concept Generation and Evaluation of Concepts that may need to be repeated
many times before production of a final product can begin. As an engineer, you are required to
design a product (Refer to Appendix A). As part of design process, customer requirement and
their importance level have been identified as shown in Table 1.
