Senior Girl Scout Mildred E. Garcia, 17 years old, has been awarded as
one of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines Chief Girl Scout last November 18,
2014 at the Plenary Hall of the Philippine International Convention Center,
CCP Complex, Pasay City. She also brought pride and honor to the GSP
Zamboanga del Sur Council when she was declared as the 1st placer for the
2014 Escoda On-the-Spot Essay Writing Contest (National Level) last
November 19, 2014 at the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, National
Headquarters, Manila. We chose her as our Senior Patrol Leader for the 38th
National Encampment which was held in Toril, Davao City on April 11-16,
2015 and under her leadership, the Zamboanga del Sur Council was declared
as over-all champion in their sub-camp.
She is currently a first year college in Bachelor of Secondary Education
major in Biology at Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology,
academically achiever, has participated in many extra-curricular activities,
attended workshops, trainings and seminars, joined various GSP
encampments from troop/school up to the national level. She is morally
upright, healthy, talented, a good leader, with a very supportive parents and
most of all, willing to be part of the development and growth of the
community where she lives.
This letter is intended for her endorsement in her application for the
Philippine Youth Leadership Program Batch 13.
