Path of a Genuine Teacher

The concepts of teaching are: Teaching as Profession, Teaching as Science, and
Teaching as Vocation. Teaching as Profession, It requires long years of education.
Before someone becomes a professional teacher they need to walk in to path going
through the profession of being a professional teacher. Along this path they will
encounter several things, and they will need to go beyond all of these things. One of
them is education, for those people aspiring to become a teacher they need to enroll to
the program for teacher in the university. It takes four years of education and after
graduation comes they will have their diploma, and then take the board exam for the
license that everyone aspiring to have, and then practice their profession as teacher by
teaching anywhere that needs teachers, attending different seminars for the continues
learning and upgrade knowledge. Teaching as science, their mentors teach them about
the theories of education, how to make lesson plan, different kinds of teachers, how to
become an effective teacher. What are the characteristics of being a professional
teacher. All of these will discuss by their teachers or mentors during their education.
Teaching as vocation, teachers always need to be ready to face the pain,
disappointment, and give sacrifices for their profession, and the key for this is the love
not only to the profession as teacher but also to the learners. And the best reward that
the teachers want to have is the learners to become a better person and have a good
life.

Love as Profession
Every person has a dream to become a professional someday. Some of them
want to become a Doctor, Lawyer, Nurse, Architect, or even president of their country,
and etc. to have one of these professions is not simple. It requires an initial professional
education, where we need to go to school or in university to study about the theories of
the profession that we are taken. Complete all the requirements given by the university,
for us to have our diploma, which is the evidence that we are graduated in the course
that we are taken. Like in engineering courses, it takes four to five years of education.
During these years they will encounter different kinds of mathematical problems and
they will learn to solve it in different ways. Engineering is not only about mathematics
but also in everything that we can see around us. Five years of education is not enough
basis of being a professional engineer, because it is not all about the knowledge. As
engineer they will need to learn how to lead the workers under them, assure the
safeness of the worker as a sign of love for them, always be humble, ready for new
learnings and when the problem comes they will need to face it and solve it in a
peaceful manner. And also dont hesitate to share their knowledge to someone who
needs it. That is why being an engineer is also a profession, science and vocation.
