You are applying to a study abroad program in Ecuador.
The director of the program has asked you to tell about
yourself in order to find the best fit for a host family during
your stay. It is important you are matched with the right
family in order to help you feel comfortable in a new
country. Your presentation must include the following:
A. General introduction including
a. your name
b. Where youre from and where you live
c. age
B. How your personality makes you unique
a. at least 3 traits you are, and 2 you are not
b. Compare yourself to others your age
C. How your activities make you unique
a. at least 3 you enjoy, and 2 you do not
b. Elaborate on your activities (why, with whom,
when, etc.)
c. Compare yourself to others your age
You are expected to prepare a slide show that consists of
graphics, titles, and a FEW bullet points per slide. You may
NOT type up an entire presentation and read from the
screen. You must actually talk/present to us, using your
slideshow as your notes. I-1+ is expected. Use learned
vocabulary and appropriate transitions.
