HAND POSITIONS

REIKI HAND POSITIONS

IF YOURE FAMILIAR WITH REIKI HEALING, THEN YOURE
PROBABLY GOING TO WANT TO EXPERIENCE IT FOR YOURSELF.
You can do this by treating yourself,
once you know the energy
centers--called chakras--and the hand
positions to use to focus the reiki
energy. Its not hard to do a successful
reiki self-treatment, but all of the hand
positions must be used, and used
consistently, if it is going to have any real
effect. This can take up to an hour a day.
Its no use just using one hand positio
to balance one area--using a head
position to get rid of an earache, for
example. Reiki has to be done in its
entirety to really benefit you. Of course,
should you have a chronic condition,
please seek the advice of your doctor.
Reiki self-treatment is meant to work
with your physicians advice, not to
replace it.

Reiki work
by letting
the life
force of the
universe
flow
through
Your hands
and into
your body.

The cells resonate with that energy, and

draw on it. Reiki works on its own accord,
you dont need to concentrate or do
anything special for it to be advantageous. It is simple, and effective, and that
is what makes it so valuable.
There are some basic hand placements
used when giving yourself a Reiki energy
treatment. It is important that these are
followed and not hurried. You want to be
relaxed, with a quiet mind and an open
heart to do a reiki self-treatment. Dont
rush it, dont do it when youre
over-stimulated by excess food or drink
or any mind-altering substance, and
make
sure you use the bathroom before you
start--you dont want to be interrupted!

put your hands over your stomach, right
around where your belly-button is. Allow
your fingers to touch.

There is no special equipment needed, no special clothing to
wear. What is most important is that you are comfortable,
relaxed, and that you have given this the time needed to
perform it properly and unhurried. Reiki is a wonderful tool
when it comes to mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional
health, and something that can greatly benefit all areas of
your life.
