they support your side or not, bring in a quote from one of these credible people and discuss
what they have said. These are best when the person you quote is recognizable.

3) Pathos- How can you connect to an emotional argument? Stalin once said that, Once death is
a tragedy, 1 million deaths is a statistic (see that ethos), so think of a story you can tell to
make the reader connect to that specific experience. Use imaginative and descriptive
language in your writing.
Response- Science has helped us progress in many aspects, including
technology. Weve had breakthroughs that have helped save millions of lives. Every
person affected by technology, could agree that science is the most pertinent subject
today.
4) Logos- Make your argument easy to understand. Provide statistics or charts that help the
reader understand why your argument is clearly better. Use simple language to explain the
facts.
