Location
Pickett State Park is located 12 miles north of Jamestown, Tennessee, between
Nashville and Knoxville. Take Interstate 40 to exit 317. Follow Highway 127
North to Jamestown. Just north of Jamestown, turn right on State Road 154
East. At the Hwy. 297 junction, stay to the left. You will go through the park
entrance. The ranger station is on the left several miles inside the park. The
group camp entrance is on the right about 1 mile past the ranger station.
Notice to tent campers: park policy requires the same fee per person for those bringing tents
instead of staying in the cabins. If you wish to stay at the regular campground (about 1 mile from
the group camp), tent sites are available for $10 per night on a first-come, first-served basis. For
information call the park at (931) 879-5821.
