3.1 Introduction
One of the most important reasons why the students like learning in the
environment that computers have to offer is due to the fast-paced and entertaining
multimedia which makes their learning experience worthwhile and enjoyable. ComputerAided Instruction packages of today are more user-friendly and entertaining than their
predecessors. As the manifestation to the developments, the developers intend to propose
a Computer-Aided Instruction in the English subject for Quezon City Academy to
provide a system that will encourage, guide and aid the students in focusing to their
studies.
Since computers are capable of processing, retrieving, collecting, organizing and
restoring data, developers coined the term information system.

Log-in Form
In the Log-in form, it will prompt the users to enter an accurate username and
password to access the system. The log-in module has three access levels; for the
Administrator, teachers, and students. Also, this module is divided into three: the
Students log-in module; the Teachers log-in module; and the Administrator log-in
module.
In the administrator/teacher form, it has a full access on the system. The
administrator has the authority to add, update or delete a section and faculty. The faculty
is limited to access the maintenance for section and faculty. They are only allowed to add
students but teachers cant add lessons, topics, chapters, and quizzes.
In the ABOUT US module, Mission and Vision of the school will be viewed on
this module. This will give and remind the teacher about the purpose of the school in
teaching and their vision in the future.
Student Form
After logging in as a student, the student module main window will appear which
contains the Lesson Module, Score Module, Game Module and Quiz Module. The Lesson
Module is where the students will take the lesson proper assessment. This module has a
pre-assessment module, which will determine if the student has a background to the
lessons. Whether the student passed or failed of the said assessment, the module will be
forwarded to the lesson proper where the presentation of lesson will be held. The postassessment is where the examination activity of the students will take place to determine
the learning capability of the students. The questions of the pre and post assessment

Lesson module can be access by the administrator and the teacher. The
administrator can make lessons and these lessons will be the default lessons of the
system. The administrator can also edit the lesson that the teacher made or delete pages.
The teacher can edit or add lessons or delete a page that the administrator made, but the
lessons that the teacher made can only be seen by the student whom the teacher
particularly handles, the student who are not handle by the teacher can see the lesson that
the administrator made or whoever the teacher of the particular student. The lesson that
has been made can be preview to help the user to identify what other things the user
might change or add to the lesson that the user made.
Assessments module is generally used to refer to all the teachers used to gauge the
students progress. Multiple choices, Identification and True or False will be viewed on
this report. The question together with the answer can be printed and search for a specific
lesson.
Setting module will have an audit trail to monitor all the students who took or
tried to take the lesson. The developers will develop a back-up; restore function and will
also provide the help module wherein it has the basic information on how to use and
operate the system properly.
Audit trail module contains the log-in information of all the users that logged into
the system.
