From the Student Handbook 2008-2009, Sec. 9.5, p. 75-76 The University strongly prohibits any form of intellectual dishonesty, most common of which are CHEATING & plagiarism. Specifically prohibited are the following acts of dishonesty: Cheating during examinations which may be in the form of copying from another persons answers, lifting from unauthorized materials, giving information to another student, or colluding or attempting to collude with other students during an examination, having somebody else take ones examination or taking it for another person, and using unauthorized notes or texts during an exam. The penalty for the offenses under the Academic & Intellectual Dishonesty will range from a minimum of total loss of credit for the assignment or examination in question, suspension of not less than five school days disciplinary probation for the rest of the students stay in the University & a maximum penalty of dismissal from the University.
