Question 1: What do you think of the all work is knowledge work perspective?

In my point of view, the all work is knowledge work is anyone whose work
involves the use of reasonable amount of tacit and contextual and/ or abstract/conceptual
knowledge. For example, an account clerk need to have at least a low level of communication
skill so that they will able to communicate with their colleagues. Besides that, they also need
to have the basic technical skill in order to operate the computer for recording account of the
company and make a report from their analysis. Contextual knowledge can apply to broker
who easily communicated with their client whenever want to recommend a company share to
buy by showing a simple summary regrading a company to client. Moreover, conceptual
knowledge do apply in this field when a broker want to do analysis, interpreting a company
performance, they need to figure out a lot stuff. Conceptual and contextual knowledge were
developed through experience. Then, they surely need to have theoretical skill to complete
their daily task. However, they do not need much of the creativity skill to run their daily task.
Thus, it is the perspective of the knowledge worker.
