From: Brice Kornegay, BK Strategies Re: Holcomb for Indiana Survey Results, October 11-13, 2016 Polling Memo BK Strategies is pleased to announce the results of its survey on behalf of Eric Holcomb for Indiana. This survey was in the field from October 11-October 13, 2016. The survey was conducted using live interview phone calls to both landline and cell phones. Eight-hundred respondents participated in this survey and results have a margin of error of (+/-) 3.5% at the 95% confidence level. Gubernatorial Ballot Eric Holcomb (R): 42% John Gregg (D): 42% Rex Bell (L): 3% Candidate Images Eric Holcomb: 34% favorable 28% unfavorable (17% strongly favorable-16% strongly unfavorable) John Gregg: 41% favorable 29% unfavorable (20% strongly favorable-21% strongly unfavorable) Key Findings Four weeks out from Election Day, the ballot is tied. Holcomb and Gregg are even at 42% of the vote, with Rex Bell receiving 3%. Looking at the 15% of voters who remain undecided, it is apparent that Holcomb has a greater opportunity to grow his support in the final weeks. Among voters who have yet to commit to a candidate, 49% consider themselves to be conservative, with 21% of them saying they are very conservative. Only 22% of undecided voters consider themselves to be liberal, indicating that Eric Holcomb is wellpositioned to capture the majority of currently undecided voters.
