Avoid I or we in formal academic essays. Instead, refer to the
audience or the consumer.
You must include accurate technical language (e.g. medium close up,
typography etc). Otherwise you will score badly in Media Studies.
You must use analytical language and the terminology we have covered
including; denotation, connotation, signifies, symbolic, iconic,
indexical.
