Exploring the environment

Asma, its wonderful to have you back here at An-Nur after an extended
holiday to Australia. I can see that you are settling in very well at the
centre as you show us that you are comfortable with our everyday routine
and environment. You have established trusting relationships with your
teachers and peers.
Asma, you are interested in exploring things that are new to you to
discover and make sense of new resources, experiences and
opportunities. Your curiosity allows you to explore, look at and think about
how things work and happen in the world around you.
You recognised that you can learn from watching others, as well as
exploring and experimenting with resources yourself. Through following
new interest you are exploring various resources, experiences and
opportunities at the centre. This is allowing you to learn about how things
work and how they are used and what they are used for. As teachers, we
are here to support you to follow your interest by scaffolding your
learning, build on your knowledge, develop your understanding of how
things work and how to use tools and resources at the centre.
We will continue to provide lots of opportunities for your curiosity and
interest to be enhanced by exploring all curriculum areas and the working
of various pieces of equipment
