Nothing Gold Can Stay

Natures first green is gold,
Her hardest hue to hold,
Her early leafs a flower;
But only so an hour.
Then leaf subsides to leaf.
So Eden sank to grief,
So dawn goes down to day.
Nothing gold can stay.

My Poem
There once was a small mouse,
Who lived in his small house,
That lived under a tower,
That was so tall that it made the mouse cower.
