TOP 10 Matches Of All Time

Dota 2 debuted at Gamescom in 2011. They unveiled it to the

public with a staggering 1.6 million dollar prizepool with the
winner taking 1 million dollars home. They sent out closed beta
invites shortly after Gamescom ended. I was one of the lucky few
who received the invites within a month of them being deployed. I
have a watched almost every single one of the premier
tournaments of Dota2 since then and here are my top 10 matches
of all time.

Coming into TI3, LGD along with DK were favourites from China.
However a first round loss against Alliance seemed to have rattled
them. Can they beat Liquid?, a lowly underdog who seemed to be
here only because of the weak NA scene or will the underdogs
bite back.

Okay, I am a bit biased here but this was the game that made me
feel that Indian Dota has finally made it. When two teams who
can play Dota of this caliber merge, I feel that Indian Dota can
finally go to a major. It is a stellar game.

International 2

In the Dota community, it's known simply as "The Play." But

perhaps the most perfectly executed moment in professional Dota
history, happened in a game between Invictus Gaming and NaVi
at The International 2. A relatively short game but the
extraordinary levels of crowd hype make up for it.

As mentioned above, Cloud 9 never fails to entertain. And this
game consisting of a singsing Meepo is proof of the insanity that
is cloud 9. It is by far the most strategical game Ive ever seen.

An Incredible game. Featuring once again the majority of Cloud 9
with Arteezy substituting in for Bone 7 who couldnt attend
because of Visa issues. Insane teamfights from early on, a

stalemate in mid gaming and a fantastic end! Also watch

out for one of the best EarthShaker performances of all
time.
5. Secret vs Vici Gaming DAC - Game 1

I cant begin to tell you how awesome this game is without
spoiling the ending. At that time Secret were 13-0 in DAC
sweeping through the group stages till they met the Chinese
favourites for the tournament, Vici Gaming. What follows can only
be described as the Best game of Dota in the Dota Asian
Championship.

Okay this is a bit biased. But the crowd hype is unbelievable for
this game one of the best enigma performances since
LightofHeavens in TI2. This is the best game of the Manilla Major.

This game is the best game of this year so far. The two strongest
teams of TI6 face off for a place in the Upper bracket finals. One
of the best performances of EG.
2. Team Secret vs EG- The Frankfurt Major Game 1

It was a close contest for second place between this game and
the EG vs EHOME game. But the level of Dota these two teams
displayed made this the better game of the two. EternalEnvy puts
on the best displays of Dota by an individual in this game

Could it be any other game? This game is the pinnacle of Dota.
With over a Million dollars on the line, Alliance and Navi play the
games of their lives.
The highlight reel from that game is what I show my friends if
they ask about pro Dota. From the Alchemist plays in the bottom
lane, to the TA beyond godlike streak, to S4s Coil this game is
extremely exciting from minute 1.
