2014 All-Stars event! There are 2 parts in this event, first the All-
Stars Challenge; the top 2 fan voted players from all regions are invited to the All-Stars Challenge. They
are scrambled into 2 teams; Team ICE and Team FIRE. The 2 teams will be playing in various different
game modes that have been shown to the public only for a limited time, for every win a team will
receive a certain amount of points, at the last day of All-Stars the team with more points wins. The
second part, where the most intense competition lies... After the Challenge, 5 teams shall compete for
bragging rights, prizes and to receive a bye to the quarterfinals in the season 4 world championships.
The teams: SKT Telecom T1 K (South Korea), OMG (China), Cloud 9 HyperX (North America), Fnatic
(Europe) and Azubu TPA Assassins (Taiwan).
The players; Team ICE: Cool (China), Archie (Taiwan), Froggen (Europe), Doublelift (North America) and
Madlife (South Korea). Team FIRE: Weixiao (China), QTV (Taiwan), Diamond (Europe), Bjergsen (North
America) and Shy (South Korea).

The All-Stars 2014 Challenge
The first mode, URF (Ultra-Rapid-Fire) where everyone will go HAM (to go crazy), Team FIRE had a
dominating win over Team ICE in just 20 minutes. Bjegrsen on his signature champion Ezreal (game
character) has carried his team with over 20 kills!
T he second game mode introduced was HexaKill 6x6 mode. The default amount of players in a game is
5x5. Since there is an extra player on each team in this mode they are required to create new strategies
to work with 6 players. After an hour long game, Team ICE finally wins over Team FIRE, 30 kills to 10!
Team FIRE Team ICE
The third game mode, Pick 10 currently the newest game mode, will the pro players be able to adapt to
it in time to claim victory over their rivals?! Pick 10, where 10 champions (game characters) are picked
by the fans, then the team captain will decide who plays what. After a 30 minutes game, Team ICE
showing a dominating victory over their rival team Team FIRE, not allowing them to compromise,
finishes them off quick and clean. The MVP Cool has done an outstanding job for his team, setting up
ambushes against Team FIRE to earn this victory with a KDA (Kill, Deaths and Assists Ratio) of 10/2/16
Finally... the long awaited mode, the 1v1s and 2v2s duels! This last mode is very important for both
teams because points are doubled in this matchup, giving them an opportunity to soar further ahead of
their rival team. The featured matchup between the team captains, Froggen and Weixiao was so intense
the crowd fell silent. In the end Team ICEs captain has won but it was a very close match, Weixiao was
defeated gracefully by Froggen making his team the victors! 8 points to 5, very well fought to both
teams.
All-Stars 2014 Group Stage and Finals
SK Telcom T1 K, the most feared team in the 2014 All-Stars has dominated the group stage. Claiming the
first place spot without dropping one game, the fans, viewers and cast were in awe... With North
Americas Cloud 9 right behind dropping only game, the competition has become even more intense
than expected. However the fans were very disappointed in the poor performance of Europes best
team, Fnatic with a W/L ratio of 1-3 in 4th (out of 5) place.
At last the finals came, unexpectedly, 3
rd
place OMG has pulled ahead of Cloud 9 stealing the 2
nd
place at
the last minute. So SK Telecom T1 K faced OMG in a best out of 5 series. However just like season 3
world championships, no team was a match for the fearful Korean team SK Telecom T1 K, winning 3-0
against OMG has given a wakeup call to all the teams around the world to step up their game. Even the
best team in China lost to SK Telecom T1 K without taking one game off. With a perfect record, SK
Telecom T1 K wins the 2014 All-Stars!
