Im interested in the position offered by your company which is Project Engineer that had
been advertised in the internet 5 days ago. For your information, I had received my Degree in
Civil Engineering and major in Building Construction for the past 7 years ago and already
have 5 years working experience. I strongly believe that I have the opportunity and
experiences for this post.
During my studies in university which was Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS), one of
my courses during my final year was related to this job which was Engineering Project
Management. I am sure I can get this post with hands-on experiences that I have and from the
courses that I have learned.
In 2007, I had given the opportunity by the Board of Director to handle a project that cost 1.5
million in Kuching. Without a doubt, it was very tough and challenging. The project took
about 3 years to complete. During the completion of project, from there, I had to meet various
kinds of people, just to name a few, clients, co-workers, suppliers, and consultant and had to
deal with different problems and situations every single day. However, I managed to handle
the project successfully as it had been completed in time. It was such an honoured to me as
the BOD gave me that opportunity to challenge myself and show my capabilities.
As stated in the advertisement, one of the responsibilities for this post is to ensure the
productions are achieved by the target that has been set. It will be no big deal for me as the
previous project that had been handled by me completed in time. Besides, this post needs me
to be responsible for accuracy in construction of all structures in accordance to drawings and
specification. As I mentioned just now, I am a graduate student who is specialised in Building
Construction and for that, your company can count on me in this matter as I will give my best
shot for your company. On top of that, I have the knowledge of Microsoft Project to do the
work programme besides of able to organize the site work team.
It will be an honoured to me if my job application will be taking into consideration. For now,
