Battery Y-Cable Assembly

TO LEFT AMP

This assembly allows a single pair

of 12V batteries to backup two amplifier
modules.
A diode enables the right side module
to charge the batteries (17 Ahr max for
EVX-25 and EVX-50 modules,
24 Ahr max for EVX-100 modules) and
isolates the twocharging circuits.

The single pair of wires goes to the

batteries. The opposite end of the cable
has four wires. The red wire and one of
the black wires connects to the right side
amplifier. The red striped wire and the
remaining black wire connects to the
left amplifier.

Dipswitch Settings:
left Amplifier (EVX-25E, EVX-50E, EVX-100E)
Switch 7 should be UP (off)

if right amplifier is EVX-25, EVX-50, or EVX-100
Switch 7 on SN 2 (left bank) should be DOWN (on)

Red

Red w/ Stripe

if right amplifier is EVX-25E, EVX-50E, or EVX-100E

Switch 7 on SN 1 should be DOWN (on)
