SECTION 1: Findings
Congress makes the following findings:
1. School shootings are at an all time high when it comes to America. Within these
schools are innocent children. Because of this, we should take all actions to
prevent crimes from taking place. (i)
2. ID checks are often a counter-measure towards suspicious behavior and people
showing up. It can also be used to monitor who or what has entered said building.
3. Having to use an ID to get into schools in general will cause the parents and
students more ease inside the premises.
SECTION 2: Purpose
The purpose is to protect the students inside schools, placing a preventative measure
against those who would cause harm by implementing ID checks. By doing so, it will
create a safer environment and lessen the amount crime within these areas.
SECTION 3: General Provisions
Protecting life in general is one of the main goals of this bill. Specifically speaking, were
attempting to save the lives of children with this type of bill. By creating a check in
point where students and parents must pass in order to enter the building. With this
bill, it will be strongly suggested for schools to hire guards to watch security footage
and check for IDs within the school grounds. While troublesome and costly, we must
remember this is for the sake of our future generation. We must attempt to prevent
any more casualties from violence and harm within school grounds.

SECTION 4: Definitions
Security Footage - A recorded film or video, especially of a specified nature or subject; in
this case for security.
