PSHS-CARC ranks overall champion at the 16th Annual Gawad Tala

Philippine Science High School Cordillera Administrative Region Campus (PSHSCARC) scholars brought home the bacon after winning all the events of the 16 th Annual Gawad
Tala last September 24, 2016 at University of the Philippines (UP) Baguio Alumni Center Lobby.
With the theme Revisiting the past, Reconnecting the present towards a brighter future,
PSHS-CARC swept off six other schools around Baguio City.
Frankie Subala of 8-Camia won the Poster Mak
ing Contest under the supervision of Mrs. Rosalie Buban.
Ed Matthew Balidoy of 10-Photon, Charis Gabrielle Tagtag of 10-Photon, and Jules
Lorenzo Palada of 10-Graviton bagged the first place in Quiz Bee under Mrs. Frances Marie
Anicetos coaching.
Under Mr. Dennis Basals supervision, Robert Nelson Leung of 8-Camia and Kathlea Yangot of
8-Adelfa won the On-the-spot Speech and Essay Writing Contest, respectively.
The event was fun and we are all happy that we won, Subala said.
PSHS-CARC received certificates of recognition, medals and a trophy of championship.
