NARRATIVE REPORT IN THE DISTRICT SCHOOL PRESS CONFERENCE 2024

District School Press Conference held at Oscariz Elementary School on February 8, 2024. The recently
concluded event was actively participated by the District Journalism Coordinator – Ma’am Febwinsix G. Liwanag,
school head of Bantug Elementary School, School Heads of different schools of Ramon, and the coaches of
various events in both individual and group category in Filipino and English.

The event started with the opening salvo. The estimated crowd was outnumbered and participants
coming from the private and public schools of elementary. It was expected that participants who could bring the
bacon from this competition will advance to the LD 3 at Ramon Central School on February 23, 2024

The contest started right away after the opening program. After rigourous hours of the contestants,
finally Oscariz Elementary School was honored to have young writers who will advance on the next completion.
Jasmine Claire Arquero 1st place in Feature writing (English), Nickie Jane Chavez – 3rd Place in Feature Writing
(Filipino), coach Carol Castueras; Mhaita Jelly Vinoya 3rd place editorial cartooning (Filipino), coach Janice L.
Deleon; Jenard Calantes 3rd Place Column Writing (Filipino), Michelle Mangalinao 3rd place Column Writing in
English, coah Aplle Grace Melchor; Alexander Bacarra – 5th place Sports Writing Filipino, coach Maricel Reyes;
Vivien Leigh Lucas – 5th place Copy Editing and Headline Writing English, Chaselle Chaze Reyes – 9th place Copy
Editing and Headlining Writing Filipino, coach Julie S. Ramos; Johann Peter Martin – 7 th place Photo Jourm
Filipino, coach Maria Elena Caingat; Xzanna Kwyne Domingo – 8th place Science and Health Writing, Catherine
Lacerona – 9th place Science and Health Writing, coach Lanie Ancheta; Helena Jane Roldan – 10 th place Editorial
Writing Filipino, coach Evergie Valdez.

Others who did make it, still the pride of the school for showcasing their talents in their respective events.
Saturn Jho Bacani, News Writing in English; Nicole Calugay, News Writing in Filipino, coach Dorothy Vicente. Paul
Kevin Ferrer, Sports Writing English, coach Maricel Reyes; Frances Javeca Esteban, Editorial Writing English, coach
Evergie Valdez; Juls Tyler Alcantara, Photo Journ English, coach Jonarvel Esteban; Jaross Kurt Baclayon,Editorial
Cartooning, coach Janice Deleon. Jonh Olin Ambatali, Angel Louise Soliven, Kelly Abad, Cassy Ashley Lopez,
Xyhrielle Porcha Dacusin, they bagged the 6th place for their fist entry in Radio Broadcasting, coach Sweet Angelica
Huganas. Oscariz Elementary School got the 5th place in the Over all Ranking!

“My heart is filled with joy because our young journalist never failed us. It’s an honor to our school and in
our barangay Oscariz for these success,” says, Maricel R. Reyes , SPA Coordinator.
AWARDING OF HONORS and CERTIFICATES TO DESERVING PUPILS OF OSCARIZ ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Award is essential dimensions of accountability and continuous improvement of pupils and teachers. It is
the task of every school to contribute to pupil’s achievement with in a quarter.

Last February 16, 2024, Oscariz Elementary School conducted the Second Quarterly Awarding of Honors
and certificates to the deserving pupils. The program started right after the flag ceremony, with the leadership of
the energetic school head, Sir Angelino S. Sipagan. The awarding starts in the Kindergarten and followed by grade
after.

It is a wonderful feelings to the pupils who were awarded, all their sacrifices are paid off!

NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE DISTRICT FESTIVAL OF TALENTS

The District Festival of Talents held at Ramon Central School last February 29, 2024, was a significant
event that showcased the talents and abilities of pupils from various schools within the District . The Festival of
Talents is an occasion for pupils to display their skills and creativity in diverse fields, including academic, arts, and
culture. During the event,pupils from different schools competed in a wide range of competitions and activities,
providing an excellent platform for them to express themselves and engage in healthy competition.

Once again, Oscariz Elementary school participants bring home the bacon. The following pupils will
represent our district in the LD3 Festival of Talents. Three pupils will advance to the said event: Jasmine Claire
Arquero – Interpretative Reading; Daniel Ackiel Castueras – Muling Pagkukwento; Xzanna Kwyne Domingo –
Kasaysayan at Araling Panlipuna Quiz Bee.

Other participants also won in their respective events. Jan Namos Dela Cruz – story retelling English,
participants from Himig Bulilit, Roshen Felipe, Francheska Salvador, Lorethon Domingo, and Xavier James
Tolentino, both garnered the 2nd place. Frances Javeca Esteban got the 5th spot on Recycling Waste Materials.
Jonh Olin Ambatali – Interpretatibong Pagbasa; Juls Tyler Alcantara and Cathrine Faith Laceron in Food
Preservation.

It is an honour to have this young kids showcasing their god given talents, to the coaches, who gave their
all out support and also to our School Head, Angelino S. Sipagan, for his unending support to our school.
