CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS & CO-OPTS FOR THE HUMAN RIGHTS CELL
OF THINK -INDIA
Think India is an initiative to bring the best talent from the finest institutions
with the broader objective of generating ideas and views geared towards national
rejuvenation and also to inspire young minds to take upon themselves their responsibility
in the process of nation building. Think India has been actively engaged, with these
objectives in mind, since 2006, in activities ranging from organizing conventions,
workshops and conferences to discussion sessions, hosted at reputed institutions across
the nation. Think India is a National forum of students, alumni & faculty of premier
institutes of National Importance like the IITs, IIMs, IISc, the National Law Schools and
other such institutes across India, spanning several academic disciplines.
The idea of Think India saw the light of the day with the maiden Think India
Convention in 2007 at the Art of Living Ashram, Bengaluru. Thereafter, notably Think
India Conferences were organized in May 2011 in Pune, January 2012 at the Indian
Institute of Science (IISc.), Bangalore, in October 2012 a law focused summit was held in
Bhopal and INDGenius Youth Convention in March 2014. Besides these National
Conferences, Think India is running Anubhooti The Social Internship Programme
providing internships to students in leading social organizations along with numerable
campus programs across the country every year.
Personalities like Sri Sri Ravishankar, Justice Santosh Hegde, Justice DM
Dharmadhikari, Prof NR Madhava Menon, Dr V K Saraswat, Shri TV Mohandass
Pai, Shri Anand Kumar(Super30), Dr R. Balasubramanian, Lt Gen DB Shekatkar,
Major Gen. GD Bakshi, Swami Mitrananda, Major Gen Vikram Singh, Prof. R.
Vaidyanathan, Dr. H.R. Nagendra, Suhas Gopinath, CEO GlobalsInc, Dr
Nandita Pathak and many more have graced the dais of Think India in past.
To carry out our initiatives and activities in various campuses of Law Schools, we are
calling for Applications for Volunteers and Co-Opts for the Human Rights Cell of
THINK INDIA in National Law Universities (NLUs) across the country. They will also
be part of our various projects and assignments with government bodies, Think Tanks
and social organizations, for which they will also be acknowledged. The deadline for the
same is 15 November, 2016. Interested persons may contact their Campus coordinators
