Philosophy of music is the study of fundamental question

regarding music.
Music can be used to express our emotion, most common
definition of this is organized sound.
Popular Aspects of Music:

Melody
Harmony
Rhythm
Timbre

History of music is related in classical music.

Six (6) Historical Period:
Medieval middle ages. It influences painting, sculpture,
and architecture.
Renaissance means rebirth or reborn. It began in Italy
and spread to Europe
Baroque was born in Italy later on adopted in different
European country.
Romantic which are like philosophy on life. Romantic
who believes in Romanticism.
Contemporary means present. In mid 20th century music
has evolve in many different ways.

Different Genres of Music:

Rock Music originated in the rock and roll era of 1950s.
Hip-hop Music the culture associated with rap music.
Trance Music usually played in club houses and

discotheques.
Jazz featured strong and complex rhythms.
Folk Music is a kind of traditional music.
Techno Music also known as fusion music.
Opera Music has greater appeal or its delightful
orchestra accompaniment.
