    standing at the door, helping those who needs help,
    providing hall guides, signs, & welcome messages, teachers
    name & other welcoming & supporting information available
    2. Where am I supposed to sit?As an effective teacher, I
    shall have assigned seating in place

    3. What are the rules in this classroom?As an effective


    teacher, I shall have a posted copy of rules on the classroom
    wall, and a hard copy of a discipline plan for both student &
    parent

    4. What will I be doing this year?As an effective teacher, I


    shall manage the classroom with daily procedures, teaching
    students how to be responsible for their behavior and their
    learning

    5. How will I be graded?As an effective teacher, I shall be


    more concerned with getting the students to complete the
    assignments and passing the required tests

    6. Who is the teacher as a person?Emphasis should not


    be totally on the teacher per se, but a bulletin board that
    displays students work & their achievements
    7. Will the teacher treat me as a human being?As an
    effective teacher, I shall always treat all students with
    respect, dignity, care, & love
