I choice my activity about pattern and I will write the

definition and apply the 5s in the activity:

5s
Engage: the purpose for the engage stage is to interest student and get
them personally involved. I will engage the children by asking some
questions. Like, whose can find with me a three shapes are similar and name
it? Which one can come first? And the next, next? Any volunteer can make a
pattern just like first shape?

Explore: the purpose of this stage to get students involved in the topic and
providing them to build their own understanding. The children will discuss
about how many shapes they have in each groups, and some students can
record or write a note of different types of pattern they have, name the
shapes, and colored they do it that through observations and ideas, and they
will learn more about that.

Explain: the purpose of this stage provide students with an opportunity and
communicate what they have learned so far and figure out what it means.
The children in this stage they work together and explain the pattern to find
answers and discuss that with each other. Also, children ask question about
pattern what they see in the first? Why they choice this shape no other?
Which shape can be next or before. In addition, they do compared about the
ideas and connect with teacher idea.
Extend: the purpose of this stage to allow students to use their new
knowledge and continue to explore its implications. The children in this stage
will apply of new information in this activity. For example, Hamad learn
through doing pattern how he can copy exactly what they see about
Geometry shape, and learn the shape of square and circle he putted what he
learn in a right place.

Evaluation: the purpose for this stage for both students and teachers to
determine how much they learning and understanding. I will evaluation the
students through walk around of them and observe when they work and do
the pattern. I ask some questions what will happen next? How many shapes
you have in 3 wood plot? Who is can give the name of second shape?
