TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS FOR SYSTEMS ON FIRE PROTECTION

BUILDING AND ENVIRONMENT

This is a primer regulation for fire protection. There are two systems of fire
protection for building :
1. Upright pipe system
2. Automatic sprinklers system
A. Upright pipe system
The contraction of this system shall accordance with Indonesia National
Standard 03-1745-2000 about planning and installation procedures upright
pipe system and slang for fire hazard prevention for building.
The required buildings :
The new buildings shall have upright pipe system class I if :
1. The high more than 15 meter from above ground
2. More than one floor from underground
3. More than 6 meter from underground
System class I shall provide a connection slang with size 63.5 mm (2 1/2
inches) for water supply
B. Automatic sprinklers system
Installation of automatic sprinklers shall accordance with SNI 03-3989-2000
