SCS-25T3N1 is a outdoor type BTS that can support the

CDMA2000 1X/1xEV-DO services. SCS-25T3N1 is controlled by the
BSC and connects the CDMA call to the MS.
SCS-25T3N1 interfaces with the MS through air channels and
supports IS-95, IS-2000 and IS-856 through a Common Air Interface
(CAI). That is, SCS-25T3N provides various new functions, such as
a high-speed data service, multimedia service, and new handoff
schemes, which are defined in the IS-2000 and IS-856
specifications.
SCS-25T3N1 was designed as the minimum space and reduced
kinds of mounted unit by using highly integrated technology and
united RF/Digital architecture. Therefore, SCS-25T3N1 can support
mounting space for external device(Rectifier, Backup battery,
Microwave IDU, DDF) and there is no need for additional area for
external device.
Reduced type of installation boards and number of installation
board also enhances operation convenience and power
consumption.

The modem of the SCS-25T3N1 channel card supports both IS-95 and IS-2000.
The SCS-25T3N1 can support both CDMA2000 1X and 1xEV-DO services, supports omni
and sector modes. When assigning channel elements for 1X voice/data calls, all FAs and
Sectors within the rack can be assigned to a single channel card and the pooling between
the channel cards is supported.
In order to minimize the O & M cost, the SCS-25T3N1 features efficient distribution and
allocation of the system resources and provides various solutions for the trunk line section
between the BTS and BSC.
Also featuring the on-line/off-line diagnosis, the SCS-25T3N1 provides convenient O & M
and cut-down on costs through features such as Enhanced Maintenance (EM), Inventory
Management, and Remote Firmware Downloading
