This document provides instructions for creating a Venn diagram to compare and contrast the trigonometric functions of sine, cosine, and tangent. Students are told to be creative in their diagram and include detailed descriptions and examples from their notes and textbook for each category. They should also include right triangles and organize the diagram to provide a visual for memorizing the key properties of each trig function. The assignment is due on Friday and students should review the rubric.

You are to create a Venn diagram (as shown above)
o Be as creative as possible Refer to your notes and textbook for detailed descriptions for each category The more information and creativity you provide, the more visually appealing it will be Apart from the Venn diagram, include right triangles (as shown) Organize your Venn diagram accordingly o Provide examples if necessary for the descriptions You and a partner (2-3 students only) are to work collectively together The example I have provided is just to give you an idea of where to start. The categories you have to compare and contrast are SINE, COSINE, and TANGENT (not opposite, adjacent, and hypotenuse). Remember, this is for you, the student, to give you a visual for memorizing each term and category. The more practice you get in identifying what is what, the more you will become profcient in understanding the meaning of them. This is due on Friday at the beginning of class. Make sure you review the following rubric!
