Procedure:
1. Introduce lesson, explain
objective.

Questioning and Teaching Strategies:


Re-Read The Frog Princess for the 2nd read
(Read Aloud)
(Stop on key words and allow the students to
say them aloud to ensure everyone is following
along.)
(instruct children to put their hands on their
head when they come across a word they dont
know ask the class to help and, if needed,
answer the question or define the word.)
Group students based on reading ability
Determine the theme or central message of
the story
Chart Paper- Groups will decide on a theme that supports
the legend.
They will add KEY DETAILS (Using text evidence) to
support their theme.
They will then rotate to the right and add KEY DETAILS to
support another groups theme.
