IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT YOUR FURUNO

BBWGPS WAAS/GPS RECEIVER

All NavNet displays that are currently being shipped from Furuno USA contain
software that allows them to work with Furunos new BBWGPS receiver.
If you wish to connect a BBWGPS to an existing NavNet display, the operating
software for that display may need to be updated. Please note that if the software is
updated for one display in a multi-display system, ALL other displays in that
system must be updated.
Please follow these instructions to determine if your NavNet Display Unit contains
software that is compatible with the new BBWGPS Receiver:
Power up the display, then press the following buttons / soft keys: MENU,
SYSTEM CONFIGURATION, SYSTEM SETUP, TEST & CLEAR, MEMORY
I/O TEST and DISPLAY UNIT TEST.
The top program number identified on your display indicates your current
software version number. The last three digits of the softwares program number
indicate the version of the software, with earlier versions having smaller numbers.
For example, version 009 is older than 010.

Compare your program number to the program number identified in the list above.
Choose your display type from the left-hand column, and read the program
number identified under C-Map Version or Navionics Version, depending on
which product you own.
If your version number is the same as or earlier than the versions shown in the
table above, please contact your local authorized Furuno Dealer to have your
software updated.
