brainstorm a list of three to five examples of World War II in pop culture (movies, music, games, etc.). Graphic Organizer-students will complete a graphic organizer about key battles and theaters during World War II. The graphic organizer will be provided in the form of a handout, and students will work in pairs to pull the information needed to complete the assignment from the textbook. Quiz-students will complete a 10-question quiz, with six matching questions and four true or false. World Map-students will label key countries of WW2 on a blank map, as well as appropriately shading countries belonging to the Axis or Allied powers. Guided Notes-students will complete a set of guided notes during the lecture lesson. Analytical Essay-at the end of the unit, students must draw upon the knowledge they have gained about WW2 to create a one-page analytical essay about the causes, consequences, and costs of the war.
