    A graphic design has 2 things: graphics and design.


    Graphic is made up of a visual element the basic design.
    This includes: line, color, shape, texture, space, form, and typography.
    Design is when u decides upon the look and function of something before its made.
    It includes: Thinking, problem solving and Practicality.
    Design rules are called principles of design.
    A good grasp of design theory will mean there will always substance behind your work
    The key principles of design are: Contrast, Hierarchy, alignment, balance, proximity,
    repetition, and simplicity.
    When you bring visual and design elements together you have graphic design.
