Objective

For student teachers to begin to understand the diverse nature of teaching by observing a
teacher for the day.
Procedure
Using the following checklist, observe the teacher throughout the day and write down what
her/his roles and responsibilities were, and how long were spent on each.

Did the teacher do anything not on the checklists?

She spent 4 minutes to read a story, 8 minutes to talk about the UAE in general, 15 minute to
review the lesson for each child individually, and 3 minutes to write notes.

What activities did you do/help the teacher with today?

-I organized queue of the children in the morning assembly, after Playground and when the leave.
-I taught them how to clean up their place after finishing their food and play.
-I taught them to repeat the things in place
-I make a small challenge for them and give them a gift.
-I oversaw one game in the playground, period food and the corner.
-I play with the children in Playground and corner.
