While considering the candidates for short listing their credentials as regard to
eligibility has been scrutinized based upon the photocopy of documents submitted by
them and as such short-listing of the candidates does not confer any right to
interview/ selection in any manner to the candidates.

Scrutiny about caste status of SC/ST/OBC category and sub category as marked by
the candidate in the application form has been considered while short-listing the
candidates. Also, the candidates who have not marked their category or marked
more than one category, were considered under unreserved category. For
admissibility of benefit of reservation in SC/ST/OBC/ESM category/sub-category,
scrutiny at the time of document verification has been considered.

Final recommendation of the candidates for the post has been made on the basis of
merit obtained through percentage and weightage of marks obtained in written
examination and interview (85% for written and 15% for Interview). Further,
subjected to conditions:
a) Candidate has passed the Trade Test/ Skill Test/ Physical Endurance Test
wherever conducted.
b) Candidate has secured minimum 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks in interview.
c) The Essential Qualification Requirement (EQR) pertaining to the posts are
completed as on CLOSING DATE i.e. 17.10.2014
d) Candidate is NOT possessing higher qualification viz. M.Sc. or B.Tech, B.E.
degree etc as on the closing date i.e. 17.10.2014, for the posts of Senior
Technical Assistant B or Technician A.
e) Candidate is within age limit as on the closing date of applications i.e.
17.10.2014.

AGE RELAXATION: upper age limit relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, PWD, MSP, ESM, GS,
persons domiciled in Kashmir Division of J&K state during the period from 01-011980 to 31-12-1989, widows, Divorced women and Women judicially separated from
husband but not remarried as per the rule prescribed by the Government has been
given.

For admissibility of any other benefit of reservation in SC/ST/OBC category/ subcategory the final selection is in accordance with the terms and conditions
mentioned in the advertisement inviting application forms and instructions issued in
this regard by the Govt. Of India from time to time.
8.
The final selection of the candidates shall further be subjected to fulfilment of all the
eligibility conditions as prescribed by the statutory DRDO RRs and terms &
conditions
of
advertisement
as
indicated
in
the
advertisement/
addendum/corrigendum as published in the employment news/daily national
newspapers, inviting applications and also subject to thorough verification of their
identity with reference to their photographs, signatures/handwriting etc. on the
application forms, admission certificates etc. The candidature of the candidate is
liable to be cancelled by the appointing authority in case the candidate is found not
to be fulfilling the eligibility conditions. The Competent authority shall issue the
appointment letter to the candidate after satisfying themselves of their eligibility as
laid down in the recruitment rules and on verification of the correctness of the
information/documents as furnished in the application forms/ submitted by
candidate at the time of verification of document. Mere inclusion of name in the
result notice does not confer any right upon the candidates over the post.

The Appointing Authority shall also verify documents and will complete the process
of police verification and medical fitness of the candidate at the time of joining.
10. As per the Central Government rules candidates are liable to serve anywhere within
limits of Union of India including field locations/remote areas.
11. While every care has been taken in preparing the results, the CEPTAM reserves the
right to rectify errors and omissions, if any. CEPTAM also reserves the right to reject
the candidature of any ineligible candidate at any stage of recruitment.
12. Cut-off Scores are given in Annexure and performance of candidate is available on
our website.
