ISPA is still an important health problem , because of ARI (such as sinusitis , common cold , influenza , pneumonia ) causes of infant and child mortality are high enough that roughly 1 out of 4 deaths occurring. Each child is estimated to have 3-6 episodes of ARI annually . 40 % -60 % of visits at the health center is by ISPA . In Puskesmas Tanggetada , ARI case detection as a proportion of the year 2012 as many as 1,550 cases ( Toddler 295) , in 2013 as many as 1,722 cases (Toddler 298 ) , and 2014 as many as 1,752 cases ( Toddler 318 ) . The aim of this study was to determine factors related to the incidence of acute respiratory infection in infants in Community Health Center Tanggetada . This is the kind of research is analytic using cross sectional study design, population in this study were 234 people and totaling 70 samples using Random Sampling technique. methods of analysis using Chis-Square Test. Results of the study 56 respondents who have a source of infection are 56 respondents ( 100 % ) with ARDs , then of 58 respondents who had a low birth weight 55 respondents ( 94.8 % ) were suffering from acute respiratory infection , of the 47 respondents who did not give exclusive breastfeeding at balitanya 44 respondents ( 93.6 % ) were suffering from acute respiratory infection , of the 45 respondents were not immunized ( BCG and DPT ) 45 respondents ( 91.8 % ) with ARDs Expected for public health care institution or the government to give more understanding to the public about pencegahn respiratory diseases and provide counseling on PHBs (for Clean and Healthy) to always keep clean and maintain nutrient intake in pregnant women.
