This class provides a handson introduction to the basic terminology, concepts, and procedures
associatedwithscientificthought,practice,andacademicwritinginthefieldoflinguistics.

Yourfinalgradewilldependonthenumberofpointsyouscore.Youcangetthemaximumof100points
ifyou
attendregularly:attend24/26sessions(notincludingthefirstsessionandthemidtermexam),each
oneworth1point,foramaximumof24points.Absencescanbeexcusedifyoushowmeadoctors
