In the movie, The Hackers, there were Commandments of the Cyber Ethics
violated such as:
Commandment #1: Thou shalt not use a computer that in
ways may harm other people.
- In the movie, the protagonists, the group of young students, used a
bank account of a professional for their benefit, as a result the
professional was the one arrested just because of their competition.
- the movie was about a hacker making a virus and launching it to the
world and he would sell for the antivirus and he monopolize the
cyberworld.
Commandment #3: Thou shalt not snoop around in other
peoples computer files.
- the protagonist in the movie snoop around on the files of the girl he
liked.
Commandment #4: Thou shalt not steal.
- In the movie, those teenagers stole a file from a banks system.
Commandment #5: Thou shalt not use a computer to bare
false witness.
- In the movie, the protagonists, the group of young students, used a
bank account of a professional for their benefit, as a result the
professional was the one arrested just because of their competition.

- The antagonist made a virus to infect all networks of system in the
world for him to sell his antivirus. After he got blown that he has a
plot, he became a criminal and tried to hide and flew to another
country but he was arrested eventually.
REFLECTION:
After seeing the movie, I realized that hacking is one of the most
desperate moves to make in order to gain profit, second was the making of
virus and selling antiviruses for it. And those children and teenagers shown
in the movie, the had the lack of knowledge about the proper ethics when
using a computer.
We all know that the teenage period is the most crucial stage of a
person, we should enlighten them more of doing what is right and what is
wrong. This movie also serves lessons to all computer users around the world
that computer gives us many great benefits, it has also downsides.

We must be careful of every programs, systems and apps that we are

using so that we could avoid being a victim of this progressing world of ours.
