Global events over the past year have raised considerable concern about our future.

Around the
world, we see the rise of protectionism, populism and nativism. And, we see frustration
among young people who feel they have been left behind from economic development and
social progress.
In light of this reality, we want to know: What does responsible and responsive leadership
mean to you, to your community, and to your country? This is the theme of the Annual
Meeting 2017, set within the context of a multipolar world where a new vision of leadership is
imperative for a better future. In this effort, earnest dialogue with young people around the globe
is critical in advancing more agile, inclusive and collaborative leadership. This is the moment for
the voice of young people to be heard!
Below are some guiding questions to consider:

What does Responsible and Responsive Leadership mean to you?

How can it be applied in your local community?

What does it mean to create and lead inclusive societies?

How can we shape a better future that puts Responsible and Responsive Leadership at
the forefront?

What do you pledge to do as a young and emerging leader?
