Celebration
of life for
Kevin Beatty

A number of fundraising
initiatives and benefit
events were recently un-
derway for Onanole resi-
dent Kevin Beatty. Sadly,
Kevin lost his short but cou-
rageous battle with cancer
Tuesday at the age of 28.
At the familys request,
a celebration of Kevins life
will be held at the Erick-
son Rec Centre on Satur-
day, June 26th beginning at
9 p.m. The evening will fea-
ture local band, The Low-
down.
A trust fund for Kevins
son, Devon, has been set up
at Erickson Credit Union.
Never Alone wrist-
bands and pins are also
being sold at various loca-
tions in Erickson, Onanole,
Sandy Lake and Minnedo-
sa. These items sell for a
minimum $5 donation
with funds going to the
Never Alone Foundation
(CancerCare Manitoba) in
honour of Kevin.
