CHAPTER 5. CONCLUSION & RECOMMENDATION

I.

Conclusion
This proposal provides an improved and more secure network
performance by increasing the bandwidth of the current network, and upgrading
the networking devices and cables. A network bandwidth of 100Mbps can provide
an ultra-high speed connection for a more efficient service and communication.
Compared to copper cabling, using Fiber optics for the backbone connection
provides a more efficient and secure connection as well. Fiber optic cables are
able to transmit far more information, with a greater degree of fidelity. The
proposed network is made to be scalable to be able to easily expand the network
if it needs expansion in the future.

Recommendation

The network bandwidth can still be increased than what has been
proposed in order to experience high speed internet connection. In terms of
cable, the group has already proposed the best cable to date which is Fiber
Optics. NEU can use Windows servers for their Operating Systems. Windows
Server is generally capable of providing server-oriented services, such as the
ability to host a website, user management, and resource management across
users and applications, messaging, security and authorization and many other
server-focused services. New Era University can also use Wireless Repeaters
and Signal boosters for increased Wi-Fi distance and coverage. A wireless
repeater can improve the range of your Wi-Fi by bouncing - or repeating - the
signal over a greater distance. On the other hand, Signal boosters add range to
an existing device usually by upgraded antennas.
