Turnover Tool Basics (HORIZON Project)

Turnover is change management tool; this tool will be used under E2K - AS/400 for
AS/400 components changes or new AS/400 component development.
1. TURNOVER is a Command.

2. Please hit Enter key. (Turnover Main Menu)

3. We have created Application HORI in Turnover.

4. Take option 5 to view.

HORIZON-RLL environment below are the two levels.

Please take option 5 in above screen and select library with option 1 then hit
enter. Below target and from library you will get for level 1.

Also if you will take option 5 on level 2 then below target and from library
information will come.

5. We have to do the copy latest source from either E2KTSTSRC or WIPROSRC to


HORIZON/RCCLSRC. (Specific list of user has the authority to copy the source
in HORIZON library)
6. We have specific project HOZN under Turnover.

7. Programmer has to add new task under project HOZN.

8. Once the user will create the task then will use option 20, and then
programmer worklist will be opened.

9. Programmer will use F6 to add new items then the new member will be
check-out from HORIZON library. Programmer will use option 21 for check-out
and 24 for check-in.

10.Programmer can use the option 32 in the above screen and can modify the
source. To compile the source should take the option 36. (Please check the
spool file, source should compile with zero severity)
11.If source will compiled successfully then programmer will take option 46 =
Add to form and 47 = Run form. If form will RAN-OK then programmer
should copy the form and this will create the new form then again will take

option 46 and 47. After this object source will be moved to HORIZON library
and it is also compiled in HORIZON library.
Please find below Turnover setup for HORI application.
Level 1
1. Check-out from HORIZON to developers library.
2. Compile from developers library to HORIZON also move source from
developers library to HORIZON/RCCLSRC.
Level 2
1. Move source from HORIZON to PTD_RLLQAD. It is also compiles in
PTD_RLLQAD.
