Rules and Regulations

General

The competition is on the theme Tobacco

free schools, colleges and homes

Last date for sending entries is 5 pm,

31 December 2016

Submissions, prize-winning or otherwise,

are liable to be used in the social media
pages of Tobacco Free Kerala (blog,
Facebook, Twitter etc), with due credits. The
submissions may also be used for
educational and training purposes without
further consent from the participant.

The Cartoon should be the work of the

participant and not copied. It should not
contain any third party materials and/or
that which violates any copyrights
The Cartoon should not contain any nudity,
pornographic or sexually explicit content. It
should not contain any profanities and
should not defame, misrepresent or make
disparaging/threatening remarks about any
person (living or otherwise),
company/organisation.

It should have a minimum resolution of 300

dpi and dimensions of 600 pixels wide and
400 pixels high (must be suitable for
printing).

Text or captions, if any, should be in English

or Malayalam only

The digital version be emailed to

keralatobaccofree@gmail.com on or before
the specified last date

Hard-copy versions: A4 (210 X 297 mm) or

or Letter (216 279 mm). The hard copy
version may be sent to SAIKRIPA, 289,
PTP Nagar, Thiruvananthapuram 695 038

Submissions must be static images with no

Flash or other animation

Entries, digital or hard copy, must be

accompanied by duly completed Consent
Form along with a self-attested photocopy
of the document showing proof of age.

Prizes

Jury Prize - The best two Cartoons shall be

awarded the first and second prize as
judged by our eminent panel of judges,
winning a cash prize of Rs 2500/- and
Rs 1500/- respectively.

Popular Prize Selected cartoons after an

initial vetting will be uploaded in Facebook
page of Tobacco Free Kerala after the last
date. The entry that wins the most LIKES
will be declared the Most Popular Cartoon
with a cash prize of Rs 1,000/-

The cash prizes will be sent by Demand

Draft in the name of the winning participant.

Entry Regulations

The contest is open to children and students

between the standards of 8 and 12, from
KERALA only

Contest is open only to individuals, not

groups

Only one Cartoon can be sent by each

participant

Entries may be submitted either in the digital

format or in hard copy versions

Digital versions: The preferred format is .jpg

(.png and pdf are also acceptable).

Failure to follow entry directions as listed will result in disqualification

Decision of the judges/organisation will be final and binding
