This day will be an opportunity to do

some test filming. For the test filming
we will practice our establishing
shots that we will be hoping to use at
the start of our film opening. Not only
this but we will also take this
opportunity to take a few panning
shots that we are planning to use in
order to show subtly the genre of our
title sequence. (war)
We will film at around midday in
order to capture a scene with a lot of
light so we can see if a bright shot
will be good for our title sequence or
not.

The props and locations we will need

will not be equivalent to when we
actually film. However as this test
filming needs to be beneficial we will
film in the location we plan to film in
for our actual title sequence in order
to have a headstart of what to do on
the proper filming days, additionally
we will take some tins and random
objects to practice some close ups
and panning shots in order to let us
get a feel for this type of filming.

On this day since it is our first filming

day we will go out and film the
establishing and long shots that
show off the setting of out filming,
this will be the backbone of the title
sequence and will allow the space to
add the titles in these shots. We will
film at a later time since these first
shots will show the aftermath of a
battle, so therefore we need the
scene to look gloomy and dull to
connote this mood.

For this shooting session, we will

need to use a variety of props. For
example, we will need large walking
boots to make footsteps in the mud
for a certain scene. Additionally to
this we may also need to bring a few
random army supplies such as
labelless tins of food and binoculars.
This will be used to connote our
theme subtly.

By this time we will have all our

props and clothings at hand,
therefore we will begin filming the
action part of the title sequence.
Will we will film early to get the
daylight, and will film the sniper
shooting the soldier into the puddle
of muddy water, and then the POV
shot of him looking around and thus
would begin the flashbacks.

The props and clothing we will need

for this filming day would be the
sniper, soldiers gun, camouflage
clothing for the soldier, a ghillie suit
for the sniper and camo netting for
the sniper, additionally to this we will
need things like bandages and a
knife which will be holstered by the
soldier and sniper.

On this day we will use the time to

film the flashbacks from the soldier,
so our location will change from the
private field to a house and a local
field in order to film the scene of the
soldier as a civilian walking his dog.
We will film again early so there is
daylight, the daylight will hopefully
connote happiness and show the
audience what his life used to be like
before it was torn apart by war.

The props that are needed here will

be different than the other filming
days for example we will have the
soldier wearing casual clothes
(jeans/t-shirt), we will need a dog
and a lead as well as a coat for
when he is walking the dog and dog
treats, in an attempt to make it look
realistic and add emotional value
there will be 2 lunch bags laid out on
the kitchen counter with child's

names on them to imply the man has

kids.
