We made it through the second unit in Math Expressions! I am so proud of our students, they
worked very hard while they took their test. I do not know what our classroom average is yet,
but I will send that information home when everyone is finished. Below is another copy of the
grading scale that kindergarten through 2nd grade classrooms use. This is how students will be
graded on their report card (letter grades start in 3rd grade). As always, if you have any
questions do not hesitate to call.
The test was worth 38 points total.
Questions #1-4 were 2 points each
Questions #5-22 were 1 point each
Questions #23-24 were 4 points each (D.E.A.L.)
o 1 point for a correct drawing
o 1 point for a correct equation
o 1 point for a correct answer
o 1 point for a correct label
Question 25 was 2 points
o 1 point for showing a Proof Drawing
o 1 point for an explanation
