3.Setupandrunschoolsinvillages.Executeprogrammesforadultliteracy.Runlibraries.
4.StartPrimaryHealthCentresandhospitalsinvillages.Startvaccinationdrivesagainstepidemicsandfamily
welfarecampaigns.
5.Constructbridgesandroads.
6.Executeplansforthedevelopmentofthescheduledcastesandtribes.Runashramshalasforadivasichildren.
Setupfreehostelsforscheduledcastestudents.
7.Encourageentrepreneurstostartsmallscaleindustrieslikecottageindustries,handicraft,agriculture
produceprocessingmills,dairyfarms,etc.Implementruralemploymentschemes.
8.Theyevensupplyworkforthepoorpeople.(tribes,scheduledcaste,lowercaste)

Sourcesofincome
1.Taxesonwater,pilgrimage,markets,etc.
2.FixedgrantfromtheStateGovernmentinproportionwiththelandrevenueandmoneyforworksand
schemesassignedtotheParishad.
3.TheZilaParishadcancollectsomemoneyfromthepanchayatswiththeapprovalofthegovernment.
4.Itgetsasharefromtheincomefromlocaltaxes.
